AdventureCORPS, Inc. hosted the 33rd Anniversary Silver State 508 on September 17-19, 2016. Founded by John Marino in 1983 and recognized as "The Toughest 48 hours in Sport," it is the world's premier 48-hour ultra cycling race. This 508-mile bicycle race, commonly known as "The 508," is revered the world over for its epic mountain climbs, stark desert scenery, desolate roads, and its reputation as one of the toughest but most gratifying endurance challenges available, bar none. Solo, two-person relay, and four-person relay divisions are offered, including a Self-supported Solo Randonneur Division (no support crew allowed)! Formerly known as Furnace Creek 508, Silver State 508 is a Race Across AMerica (RAAM) Qualifier.

The race is based in Reno, NV at the Atlantis Casino Resort and crosses northern Nevada on Hwy 50, known as "the loneliest highway in America." Route | Need to Know info | Race Roster | Race Magazine (10MB) | 2016 Webcast | 2016 Time Splits & Results
