Desert Swimming
It’s dry as a bone, but there are lots of fish in the desert today. Seattle’s Jim “Cutthroat Trout” Trout rides past mile 300 with a smile, looking as happy as he did at the first mile mark (maybe it’s the fact that he’s been married just under one month). Team Chinook sports this year’s sharpest race apparel, beautiful white jerseys with Pacific Northwest Native American designs. Both fish totems are swimming strongly.
